How often we try to define what is LOVE and yet no justification can ever made to re-ensure what LOVE really means to us..

Now suddenly it isn’t about what you’re getting, but rather what you can give. This is unselfish love. This second type of love is the most rare. To love in any other way is to need, to be dependent, to have expectations—all the ingredients for misery and disappointment."

My Dear Sisters: Please Don't Soften Your Voice

Bismillah. Assalamu'alaykum..

A reminder for us all today!

..فَلاَ تَخْضَعْنَ بِالْقَوْلِ فَيَطْمَعَ الَّذِى فِى قَلْبِهِ مَرَضٌ وَقُلْنَ قَوْلاً مَّعْرُوفاً..

“..then be not soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease (of hypocrisy, or evil desire for adultery) should be moved with desire, but speak in an honourable manner”
[al-Ahzaab 33:32]

My beloved sisters, let's not soften our speech when talking to men. Let's see what scholars say about this (tafseer of the above ayah/verse) :

al-Qurtubi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in his Tafseer:

Allaah commanded them to make their speech serious and straightforward, and their posture and gestures should not convey and wrong ideas, as the Arab women used to do when speaking to men, by making the voice soft and gentle, like the speech of immoral women and prostitutes; He forbade them to do that.

It says in Mughni al-Muhtaaj (4/210), a book of Shaafa’i fiqh:

The woman’s voice is not ‘awrah, and it is permissible to listen to it if there is no fear of fitnah, but it is recommended for her to make her voice unappealing if there is a knock at the door, so she should not answer in a gentle voice, rather she should make it harsh by putting her hand over her mouth.

It says in Kashshaaf al-Qinaa’ (5/15), a book of Hanbali fiqh:

The voice (of a non-mahram woman) is not ‘awrah. It says in al-Furoo’ and elsewhere: according to the more correct opinion, it is haraam to gain pleasure from listening to it, even if she is reciting Qur’aan, for fear of fitnah.

It says in Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (17/202):

The woman’s voice is not haraam in and of itself, and it is not haraam to listen to it unless there is some softness and gentleness in speech. It is haraam for a woman to speak in such a manner to anyone other than her husband, and it is haraam for men other than her husband to listen to it

I won't advice you to shout/raise your voice (to its highest pitch) to men when talking/dealing with them nor am i telling you to CUT OFF your communication completely with them when THERE IS A GREAT NEED for you to deal with them (When i say NEED, it really means NEED a.k.a you don't find ANY OTHER SISTERS to help you) But please don't soften your (readily womanly-soft) voice. Sisters, you know what i'm talking about- when a woman starts giggling here and there with her widest smile on face that her face is full with 'nur' + her cute lil' voice talking innocently to men. God, cair hati lelaki.. (Wa'iyadzhubillah!)

*side-note: Men please lower your gaze (It's in surah an-Nur: 30) and then women too (An-Nur: 31) To my niqabi sisters, it's more important for you to observe your speech since nothing appears from you-except your voice! But that's the best part of being niqabi and fully covered- the hidden face and expression. :)

So minimize your conversation to men (non-mahram,stranger-men) and speak what's important only! (Give them no chance to be 'hanky-panky' with you. Once things done between you and the guy, walk away!)

As Syaykh Salih Munajjid once advised:

It is permissible for a woman to speak in the presence of non-mahram men in cases of necessity, subject to the condition that the speech is straightforward and serious and there is no softness, temptation or provocation in her voice. Her voice is not ‘awrah according to the correct scholarly view. Women used to speak to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and ask him questions, and they used to speak to the Sahaabah about their needs, and they were not denounced for doing so.

Again. Be professional in dealing with men, talk only what's necessary, have Allah in heart. Be mindful of Allah..

Seeing herbeing likeable by all people in her circle, hearing good things (almost oneverything!) about her from every people who knows her, with her personalitywho always seems to be happy and making people around her happy with herpresence- makes you wonder, “Who is this girl?”

Glaring at her once, you might say, “She seems normal, justlike other ordinary Muslim women.” She prays five times a day, just likeothers. Ok, her hijab- she wears proper hijab; loose and modest clothing, shecovers herself well, just like many others. Her friends- She seems to be makingfriends with everyone, not a big deal! But after spending more time with her,you came to learn more about her. You came to learn one beautiful thing abouther which distinguishes her from other ordinary Muslim girls- HER AKHLAQ. It’sher beautiful manners that make her different. It’s her beautiful heart,beautiful soul- attract you most. You have met many Muslim women but she’sdifferent...

She’s always happy. And she makes you feel happy too. Youwonder why. Why you feel different in her company? Why do you feel so peacefuland tranquil being in her presence? Now you understand why. She may seem to beordinary on the outside, but from the inside she is extraordinary. She’s a girlwho tastes the joy of faith. True indeed, “Verily, in the remembrance of Allah dohearts find rest...” (Ar-Ra’d:28)

She observes her duties as a believing woman to her Lordwell. So does her towards HIS creations. She’s kind, nice, friendly andgenerous to all her sisters. She observes her speech- she tries best not to lieeven when she’s joking nor she backbites. She speaks nothing except what’s goodand beneficial. She observes her actions- not to be hasty nor does she want toact foolishly. She thinks wisely before acts. Then you realize, every singlemoment you spend with her increase you in knowledge, good deeds and mostimportantly- your faith. Above all these, you learn that the only thing whichdrives her to be as such is only one simple concern: “Is Allah pleased with me?Is Allah happy with me?”

Now youwonder why you can’t be like her.
Ukhty, you have the answer.

Yes you can. All you have to do is just start being one. Setthe right intention-to please Allah alone. Then strive to do things (in yourutmost capability) which please Allah most. Know this: what pleases Allah willplease others whom HE is pleased with as they are pleasing HIM too...

So start today. Don’t delay...
May Allah be your best Supporter and best Companion, assisting you to bedifferent and better than yesterday, inshaAllah? Yes. InshaAllah... InshaAllah...

Muslim women need to empower their knowledge on deen..

Few disappointing stories he shared on how men should stop 'oppressing' their women.

Good advice and solutions he gave to these men and the society as a whole to correct this problem of (some) muslim men who don't seem to understand what Islam really wants for the muslim women.

You can choose to be the evidence for those negatively stereotyping made upon islam oppressing women or prove that Islam had nothing to do with what-so-ever confusion you have made upon your practice of your false understanding of Islam.

How? Learn your deen and practice what you learned. Act upon the profound knowledge-based on the teachings of the Quran and as-Sunnah..

Choose one. Take latter, not the former.

Bible in ARABIC?

Read a story from FB, it made me questioned my sincerety in this path of learning Islam, improving myself to a better muslima today than days before-what have i done so far?

The following incident has been narrated by Colonel Amir Uddin who originally heard it from his wife. Colonel Amir Uddin is a well known caller to Islam through whose effort over 6,000 people have accepted Islam all over the world. He is 86 years old and have been to over 56 countries to call people towards Allah.

During one such journeys to invite people to Islam, his wife met a woman who was a new Muslim. While travelling, they came to know how she became a Muslim. The woman said that she was originally a Christian but her husband was a Muslim. Her husband used to tell her about the oneness of God everyday. One day while she was in the Church, she asked the Priest whether the Muslims' cocept of oneness of God was correct or the Christians' concept of Trinity was correct. The Priest told her that the Muslims are correct and he also advised her to keep this matter secret. She became very confused after hearing this. At night when she went home, she prayed to God to show her which path was the truth. She started reading the Bible thoroughly to search for answers. One night after she prayed to God to show her the truth, she opened the Bible and to her amazement, the entire Bible appeared to her as Arabic text! She mentioned this to an Imam who told her that this was a sign from Allah to accept the Quran as her guidance instead of the Bible. She became Muslim there and then.

Dear readers, such incidents are nothing new. These incidents happen on a daily basis to those who are searching for the truth. We did not come to this world with our own will. We will not leave this world with our own will. Then why live this life according to our own will? A Muslim is that person who submits to the will of Allah. Let us all submit to Allah, Who is the Lord of

everything in and out of this universe.

"And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers." (Al Quran, 3:85)

A Step Towards Tolerance Documentary

MUST WATCH! Beautiful documentary. A non-muslim woman experienced herself how it felt like wearing head-cover (hijab) in west.

There were parents who even looked 'ready to FIGHT' with her when she waived at their kids while SMILING-That's all she did, no offense :(

A Social Experiment

I wrote this on January 22, 2011. At first I wanted to keep this story between me and a few close friends, but in light of what has just recently happened at the Islamic Center of America, I feel that I have to share this story. This is no longer an issue on religion. This is outright discrimination and intolerance. If my story can inspire others, or at least affect someone on a personal level, then I've done all that I can do.

A Social Experiment

Yesterday, I went to the Islamic Center of America. I felt incredibly out of place, being a non-Muslim who wasn't wearing a hijab, and I was very nervous when stepping into the office. Out of respect, I did the best I could to hide my hair by pulling up my coat's hood. I went to the lady at the desk, greeted her with "assalamu alaikum," and she was very happy to answer my questions about the mosque and where to buy a hijab, among other things. She told me that I could observe the prayers, gave me an e-mail to a man who could give me a tour of the center, and told me how to properly wear the hijab. It was a surprisingly warm welcome and I felt pretty at ease.

After observing the service, I noticed a man was selling something in one of the hallways. I walked over there and saw a collection of jewelry and hijabs. I decided that if I were to come back, I should have more than just my coat's big hood. So I bought a pretty green hijab, then stepped into the lady's room to try it on. It's there I met Sona. She was 27-years-old and had converted to Islam a year ago. She helped me with the hijab, we exchanged numbers, and she told me that she would answer any questions I had about the religion, the culture, among other things.

After we parted ways, an idea occurred to me when I was driving home from the mosque. Back in high school, I wanted to do a social experiment for my Sociology class. My sister gave me the idea to wear a hijab out in public to see how people treated me. Back then, I didn't know where to find a hijab. Now that I had one, I thought I would give that experiment another shot. So I put on my new hijab and set out to three public places: a bookstore, the mall, and a restaurant.

The bookstore wasn't entirely unpleasant. There weren't too many people there to begin with, and because the ones there were absorbed in books, it explained why they didn't pay all that much attention to me. One of the ladies who worked there asked me if I needed any help and showed me where the bookstore kept the Qur'an. Overall it was pretty nice.

The mall and the restaurant were quite different.

I wrote this in my status on Facebook: Muslims put up with some of the worst customer service. I am not exaggerating when I say this.

When I stepped into that mall, I realized just how different this particular outing was going to be from others I've had in the past. The first store I walked into was Best Buy, but I visited every store in the mall at least once. No sooner did I step into Best Buy, I noticed how different things were. First of all, the person at the door didn't greet me like he did to other customers entering the store. I didn't think nothing of it at first, and instead I went over to look at the CDs and DVDs in the store. Usually when a customer is browsing the store, one of the employees will approach them and ask if they need any help finding something. This didn't happen once, not even when I made direct eye contact with an employee whom I went to school with. She didn't recognize me. I can't blame her for it, since my long hair was covered up, but I couldn't help but feel that all she saw was my hijab and not me, let alone a customer.

The salespeople at the mall were pretty much the same. There were only a select few who actually said more than one word to me. The employees would not welcome me into their stores. They wouldn't ask if I needed help. They wouldn't ask if I wanted to try on an outfit, even when I was holding it in my hands. They never said "We hope to see you again!" or "Have a nice day," when I left the store. Judging by this consistent reaction from salesperson to salesperson, I couldn't help but feel that they were glad to be rid of me and most definitely didn't hope to see me again. To make matters uncomfortably worse, in every store I went into, I noticed that the same security guard was there. From Spencer's to Borders, this security guard wasn't making it a secret that he was following me everywhere I went.

I want it noted that when I stepped into the mall, I was not wearing a burqa (Muslim clothing that covers all of the body and the face), a chador (Iranian clothing that covers the entire body) or a niqab (a veil that covers the hair and face which reveals only the eyes). In post-September 11th America, the clothing listed would understandably be considered suspicious in case of a burglary or a bomb threat. The clothing makes it difficult, if not impossible, to make a clear identification in case of those threats. Had I been wearing those, I would understand the neglectful salespeople and the security guard trailing me, but all I wore was a hijab. All I was covering was my hair.

I also want it noted that when I entered the mall, I was all smiles: I looked people in the eye and smiled at them. I waved to children. I was just as happy and as approachable as I would have been without the hijab. If I were to smile at someone's child without covering my hair, parents wouldn't get defensive over it and give me dirty looks. They would have smiled back at me. If I wasn't wearing my hijab and smiled at a person who was walking my way, they wouldn't turn their head away from me or refuse to make eye-contact. They would have smiled back. If I had walked into a JC Penny's, a Macy's, a Hot Topic, a Spencer's, or a Forever 21 without my hijab on, people wouldn't have ignored me and avoided me. They would have greeted me and jumped to assist me. If I wasn't wearing my hijab and walked around the mall, I wouldn't have a security guard following me into every store, because they probably would be hounding some other Muslim woman.

All I did was cover my hair. I didn't insult these people. I never did anything to these people. I didn't get into an argument with them, or threaten them, or cause any sort of trouble that would warrant this cold behavior, let alone the attention of a security guard. All I did was cover my hair.

However, I feel that the greatest display of outright discrimination took place at the restaurant. This was my former workplace and many of my ex-coworkers were still working there. None of them recognized me, and as soon as I walked into the restaurant, the hostess (a former co-worker who was looking me right in the face) looked positively stunned that a Muslim woman walked into the place. She didn't recognize me, but led me to a table. I took my seat and opened up the menu, but at the same time my eyes were scanning the area. This table was assigned to a waittress, but a waittress never came to me. Usually, after a person is seated, the waittress comes to the table immediately and asks you if you want a drink. I had to wait for at least five to ten minutes before the hostess returned and asked me if I wanted anything to drink.

None of the waittresses ever came to my table to take my order. None of them asked me if I wanted a refill for my water. None of them asked if I was doing alright or if I needed anything else. To make matters worse, it is expected of the waittresses to ask the customers these questions even if they are not waiting on them. Not one of these waittresses wanted to make eye contact with me, nor did they want to come by me.

It wasn't until I waved at one of my former managers that he even recognized me. It was then that my hostess recognized me. After I told her about everything that happened today, she looked positively shocked. I would hope that she recognized the same discrimination being carried out in this establishment as it did in the previous ones. If this is how the waittresses would treat a girl with just her hair covered, they would definitely treat an actual Muslim woman in this way.

When I was younger, I would hear how people truly felt about Native Americans. Since I look more like my mother and less like my father, these people would be more open about their opinions around me than they would have if my hair was black and my skin was darker. I still get defensive when something like this happens and I've always felt that it was discrimination. However, this was the very first time in my life that I have truly felt discriminated against. When people were talking about Native Americans, they weren't thinking of the white, blond haired woman with 1/4 Ojibwa in her. But when people were ignoring me, glaring at me, following me, denying me service, and weren't welcoming me into their stores or their restaurants, they did it to me. In their eyes, they knew exactly what I was and they didn't want anything to do with me. Even though I did nothing to them but smile.

If this is how we treat Muslims in this country, there will never be peace. There will never be an understanding between religions and cultures. If we shun them, ignore them, and make it blatantly obvious that we don't want them here, we are going against everything that this country is supposed to stand for. And if we carry this ideology that "we don't want them here," "we don't want you to come back here," and "it would be better if you just weren't here at all," how does that make us different from Al Queda, the Nazis, the Westboro Baptist Church, the Ku Klux Klan, or the many other various hate groups in the world? It is this ignorance and this thought process that leads to holocausts.

Look beyond the veil.

Marriage- a MEANS not an END

MARRIAGE DELAYED

Marriage, seems to be the topic people are tired of hearing about, yet want to continue talking about. I think this topic rose to fame and has remained a favorite in the westernMuslim community because of how difficult it has become; getting married (the halal) at this time is difficult, while temptation (and haram) by its very essence is easy. Many youth feel that they are ready to get married, but face a number of obstacles (all of which I could not enumerate or recognize as every sister’s circumstance is different, but I would guess family is one of the more common issues faced).

To digress for a moment here, I remember many years back, my friend and I had gone to the video store with her little sister and nanny. My friend’s sister ended up wanting a toy which the nanny said she couldn’t have, and so she was crying about the toy all the way home. The same happens with chocolate – we might tell ourselves "no more chocolate for this week," and then end up thinking about chocolate more than we do in the first place.This is essentially what happens when you want something which you are told you can’t have until a later date ,you think about it. By the same token this happens with the issue of marriage. Some youth are interested and can’t go ahead with it and then have it on their mind constantly trying to drive the thoughts away. So, what can youth in this situation do?

Firstly, it’s a good time to remember that marriage is a means, and not an end. Think about it, is your purpose in life to get married? Will you be 100% happy and trouble-free when you get married? The answer to both questions is no. We all know our purpose is to worship Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. And, it’s not like after you get married, you and your husband will joyfully skip into the sunset and it’s happily ever after. Pure happiness, peace, and tranquillity can only be found in Jannah. Which brings me to my next point – let us not forget about what we really should have on our mind and be striving for, Jannah.

I began to reflect on some lines of a poem:

O single Muslim!
How intelligent are you!
While some make marriage their ultimate goal,
You know it's only a means,
To reach the final abode!

Questions started popping into my mind: why did I want to get married? What is marriage a means for? What is the end?

Why do people want to get married?

Many reasons, and again I could not list them all here. The main ones, are as follows:

• To please and increase in the worship and obedience of Allah AzzawaJall, and to follow the sunnah of the Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam)

• To protect themselves from falling into zina and haram, and a halal way to satisfy their desires

• They don’t have a good family life or have problems at home which they want to escape from

• They like the idea of being loved, having a family, etc.

The first point should be the primary reason we want to get married, while if there are any other factors they should be secondary to that main one.

What is marriage a means for?

In relation to the previous question, once you set your main intention in order, you realize marriage is a means to complete half your deen. It is a tool for raising a family upon the religion in obedience Allah Azzawa Jall. And increase and better yourselves together. Ultimately all this is to please Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and gain Jannah bi’ithnillah.

What is the end?

Thus, we now see that the main goal in our lives shouldn’t be to get married, but to live life in such a way that we can insha’Allah have the Mercy of Allah Azzawa Jall reach us. The end we want is Jannah (Jannatul Firdaus, insha’Allah)!

So we’ve got all that sorted but you still can’t get married…what do you do?

If it’s really not possible for you to get married at the moment, for whatever reason, then there is no point in obsessing over it and thinking about it every moment. If we consider the current situation rationally, we need to ask ourselves: is thinking about it going to change the circumstances? Nope. Accept the reality and stop ‘scouting’ out prospects X years in advance. Put your head down, and occupy your time with good deeds and activities that will please Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. I’m not saying that you won’t think of marriage for the next X years, you will naturally think about it occasionally, but insha’Allah it won’t be on your mind 24/7. Busy yourself with ibadaat, learn more about your deen (there are so many books that one can read insha Allah wa mash’Allah), memorize Qur’an and understand tafsir, volunteer, get involved in projects serving the deen (online or in person), hold fundraisers, etc. And finally, work on yourself, for the sake of Allah AzzawaJall and your akhirah.

Our love for Allah AzzawaJall, and then the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, and Jannah should be greater than our love for other humans in this dunya. Make the deen your life and focus. You may still get whispers from Shaytan telling you to impress that brother, but fight away those thoughts and keep on marching forward insha Allah. On the Day of Judgment, you will stand alone with your character and deeds, so don’t lose sight of death and the akhirah.

I would like to briefly address the sisters who believe that they are ready for marriage and can eventually convince their parents (gently and respectfully) or overcome the hurdle that is stopping them. My advice would be to go for it! Marrying young is the sunnah, and if you can marry, then why not? Start researching, learning, and reading books about marriage in Islam, its obligations and sunnah, evaluate yourself and what you realistically want in a spouse. And of course do istikhareh prayer before you make any big decisions.

1. Problems (Identify, minimize, avoid!)~

Parents too busy to educate Islam to their children
Bad examples of mothers (na'udzhubillah)-they add confusion to their daughters.

Well, you know, the 'HIJAB' concept. Putting it on only when they're in mosque and once they step out of the mosque, their hijab just disappeared-gone! Or shall i

say, flew away? :(

Not having the right model to follow.
Bad environment (Gives great influence to the kids since they learn most through observations-through their cute lil' eyes that act more like 2 sets of non-stoppable+non-filterable video recording! Parents, you'd better watch out!)

2. Since Islam's teachings are all meant to provide us BEST CURE, which is PREVENTION, Sheikh had shared with us some 'sweets yet hard to chew' tips:

Set Prophet Muhammad salallahu 'alayhi waslm (s.a.w), habeebuna, as our BEST ROLE MODEL-uswatul hasanah

Why i wrote 'our best role model', not 'their'(the kids)? Because to teach these kids to take Prophet Muhammad (saw) as their BEST ROLE MODEL and to implement the sunnan of habeebuna (s.a.w) in everything they do, we have to do them FIRST. Remember the famous quote, "WALK THE TALK"? Uhuh. YOU-WALK THE TALK FIRST before the others :)

Parents, as your kids ROLE MODELS, should always behave in good manners. Should (or MUST) practise praised characters as taught by our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw)..

MUST never lie to your kids. MUST go to the mosque oftenly, pray jama'ah prayers (to

dads, note this!), be righteous in speeches and deeds, LIVE ISLAMICALLY...MUST DO everything by YOURSELF first, if you want your kids to do the same. Remember i told you they are the 'recorder'?.....

To have intelligent, righteous, pious kids like Imam Syafi'e (may Allah have mercy upon him)-start before your delivery to your baby!

So, dads musn't bring any haraam food/stuff into the house. Have your house near the mosque so that your kids (boys especially) could walk there themselves to perform jam'ah prayers when dads get busy and not around... And moms should live islamically also; read+understand al-quran and act upon its teachings, live the sunnah, conduct good attitudes, etc.. (watch the vid to know more)

If you want your kids to be PERFECT muslims, AIM HIGH.

And then from there, you have to always try to raise them (like sheikh said, 'mold them') so that later on, when they reach age of 15+ (Being teenagers, ya know how hard it is for them to deal with so many LURING yet DESTRUCTIVE temptations), they are easier for you to handle as they would be more obedient to you in righteousness as compared to others of their age that aren't raised islamically. May Allah make our children among the righteous and have taqwa! Aaamin.

So, as future mothers, we really have to prepare ourselves with 'ilm and good akhlaq!

TVs-put on good shows to watch with the kids, put away all the bad and harmful shows away from the kids. (Personally, i'd rather not to have TV at home..)

Well, the sheikh somehow suggested to us to have a more productive time spent with the family-having a visit during the weekend to good+righteous families or any outdoor activities where all of your family members could participate in a healthy-islamic environment. (volunteering in charity work will also do! :)

Kids are amanah (a trust) from Allah.

So we have to fear Allah! It's a GREAT deal!

When a sister lends you her fave book, what will you do? Surely you wouldn't wana betray her trust to you, right? So you would wana take very good care of it and handle the book carefully-you wouldn't wana lose her trust to you. If that's the case of her trust (the book), what about HIS trust to you(the kids)? Will really have to provide these kids their rights (the utmost priority!): to educate them Islam..

You wouldn't want them to stand infront of Allah and complain, "Oo Allah, my mom (or

dad) didn't teach me how to pray. They didn't teach me how to read the Quran. They didn't teach me..(you can name all the pillars of Islam/Iman if you want).."

Instead of having your kids as a key to jannah, things are happening just the opposite. Na'udzhubillah.. :(

CHANGE ENVIRONMENT!

Uhuh, you read me. If you want to change to a better muslima, want to practise Islam as what you've learnt but the environment just not that friendly to your changes, guess what? You REALLY GOTTA CHANGE THE ENVIRONMENT :)

How?

Sheikh's suggestions:

a. Change friends. Have them who are:

-righteous. (they love spending time in mosque/muslims' organized events)

-remind you to fear Allah (in everything you do)

-correct you when you do wrong things

b. New muslims: don't try to go back (to your former friends-life before you learn enough of your deen.

- How can you dive to save your friend if you don't know how to swim? So stay dry, till you learn to swim. :)

How to stay steadfast in avoiding this forbidden relationship?

a. Sincere du'a..

"Oo Allah, You know who i am and who i used to be. Please guide me to remain on this path (steadfastness in obeying/pleasing Allah)" or something alike. :)

b. Avoid being in places of fitan (plural for fitna)-disco, pubs, places where intermingles (and other poisons to our iman) are unavoidable.

c. Fast as much as you can

d. Spend most of your time in mosque..

Tangan ini mula menulis apa yang telah dikarangkan oleh hati ini di dalam kalbu. Aku mula tertanya-tanya adakah aku sudah seharusnya mula mencari sebahagian diriku yang hilang. Bukanlah niat ini disertai oleh nafsu tetapi atas keinginan seorang muslim mencari sebahagian agamanya. Acap kali aku mendengar bahawa ungkapan "Kau tercipta untukku."
Aku awalnya kurang mengerti apa sebenarnya erti kalimah ini kerana diselubungi jahiliyah. Rahmat dan hidayah Allah yang diberikan kepada diriku, baru kini aku mengerti bahawa pada satu hari nanti, aku harus mengambil satu tangungjawab yang sememangnya diciptakan khas untuk diriku, iaitu dirimu. Aku mula mempersiapkan diri dari segi fizikal, spiritual dan juga intelektual untuk bertemu denganmu.
Aku mahukan pertemuan kita yang pertama aku kelihatan 'sempurna' di hadapanmu walaupun hakikatnya masih banyak lagi kelemahan diri ini. Aku cuba mempelajari erti dan hakikat tanggungjawab yang harus aku galas ketika dipertemukan dengan dirimu. Aku cuba membataskan perbicaraanku dengan gadis lain yang hanya dalam lingkaran urusan penting kerana aku risau aku menceritakan rahsia diriku kepadanya kerana seharusnya engkaulah yang harus mengetahuinya kerana dirimu adalah sebahagian dariku dan ianya adalah hak bagimu untuk mengetahui segala zahir dan batin diriku ini.

Apabila diriku memakai kopiah, aku digelar ustaz. Diriku diselubungi jubah, digelar syeikh. Lidahku mengajak manusia ke arah makruf digelar daie. Bukan itu yang aku pinta kerana aku hanya mengharapkan keredhaan Allah. Yang aku takuti, diriku mula didekati oleh wanita kerana perawakanku dan perwatakanku. Baik yang indah berhijab atau yang ketat bert-shirt, semuanya singgah disisiku. Aku risau imanku akan lemah. Diriku tidak dapat menahan dari fitnah ini.

Rasulullah S.A.W pernah bersabda, "Aku tidak meninggalkan setelahku fitnah yang lebih bahaya untuk seorang lelaki melainkan wanita."

Aku khuatir amalanku bukan sebulatnya untuk Rabbku tetapi untuk makhluknya. Aku memerlukan dirimu untuk menghindari fitnah ini. Aku khuatir kurangnya ikhlas dalam ibadahku menyebabkan diriku dicampakkan ke neraka meninggalkan kau seorang diri di syurga. Aku berasa bersalah kepada dirimu kerana khuatir cinta yang hak dirimu akan aku curahkan kepada wanita lain. Aku sukar untuk mencari dirimu kerana dirimu bagaikan permata bernilai di antara ribuan kaca menyilau. Tetapi aku pasti jika namamu yang ditulis di Luh Mahfuz untuk diriku, nescaya rasa cinta itu akan Allah tanam dalam diri kita. Tugas pertamaku bukan mencari dirimu tetapi mensolehkan diriku. Sukar untuk mencari solehah dirimu andai solehku tidak setanding dengan ke’solehah’anmu. Janji Allah pasti kupegang dalam misi mencari dirimu. "Wanita yang baik adalah untuk lelaki yang baik."

Jiwa remaja ku ini mula meracau mencari cinta. Matang kian menjelma dan kehadiran wanita amat terasa untuk berada di sisi. Setiap kali aku merasakannya, aku mengenangkan dirimu. Di sana engkau setia menunggu diriku, tetapi di sini aku curang kepadamu andai aku bermain dengan cinta fatamorgana. Sampaikan doamu kepada diriku agar aku dapat menahan gelora kejantananku disamping aku mengajukan sendiri doa diperlindungi diri.

Bukan harta,rupa dan keturunan yang aku pandang dalam mencari dirimu. Cukuplah agama sebagai pengikat kasih antara kita. Saat di mana aku bakal melamarmu, akan ku lihat wajahmu sekilas agar mencipta keserasian diantara kita kerana itu pesan Nabi kita. Tidak perlu alis mata seakan alis mata unta, wajah bersih seakan putih telur ataupun bibir merah delima tetapi cukup cuma akidah sekuat akar, ibadah sebagai makanan dan akhlak seindah budi.

"Kahwinilah isteri kerana empat perkara; keturunan, harta, rupa dan agama. Dan jika kau memilih agama, engkau tidak akan menyesal.” Jika aku dipertemukan dengan dirimu, akan ku jaga perasaan kasih ini supaya tidak tercurah sebelum masanya. Akan ku jadikan syara’ sebagai pendinding diri kita. Akan ku jadikan akad nikah itu sebagai cop halal untuk mendapatkan dirimu. Biarlah kita mengikuti nenek moyang kita, Nabi Adam dan Siti Hawa yang bernikah sebelum disatukan agar kita dapat menikmati kenikmatan perkahwinan yang menjanjikan ketenangan jiwa, ketenteraman hati dan kedamaian batin. Doakan diriku ini agar tidak berputus asa dan sesat dalam misi mencari dirimu kerana aku memerlukan dirimu untuk melengkapkan sebahagian agamaku.

Raising Children

Providing children with Islamic education and raising them up as good practicing Muslims are essential duties of parenthood. Rightfully fulfilling these duties will lead to the Pleasure of Allah and good for the parents and the child in this life and the Hereafter. However, ignoring these duties would lead to the destruction of the child's Hereafter and the Wrath of Allah will befall the parents for not protecting their child from the traps of Shaytan and allowing him to choose the path of destruction.

Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock. The leader is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock, a man is the shepherd of his family and is responsible for his flock; a woman is the shepherd in the house of her husband and is responsible for her flock, the servant is the shepherd of his master's wealth and is responsible for it. Each of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock." [Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim]

Allah says in the Quran:

"O you who believe! Save yourselves and your family from a fire whose Fuel are men and stones." [Noble Quran 66:6]

One of the ways of protecting your children from the Fire is to let him memorize the Words of Allah.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"If the Quran is gathered in a body (i.e. a person), Allah will not burn him with the Fire." [al-Baihaqi, Authenticated by Sheikh al-Albani]

"Teaching the children the Quran is a fundamental from the fundamentals of Islam. By it the child will grow upon the Fit rah (natural Islamic monotheism) and the lights of wisdom will rush to their hearts before the desires are able to settle in them and darken them with the cloudiness of disobedience and misguidance," said al-Hafidth as-Suyooti.

This is because the child from the early age will be protected from the temptations of the world and whispers of the Shaytan, he will live and grow up among the gathering of Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) where tranquility and the mercy of Allah of descends, and as a result Allah will preserve his Fit rah (natural inclination of Islamic Monotheism)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"No people gather in a house of the houses of Allah (i.e. Masjid) reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, except that the tranquility descends upon them, and Allah mentions them to those who are with Him (the lofty gathering of Angels)." [Sahih Muslim]

Your child will be given a position in Paradise according to the number of verses he memorizes from the Book of Allah, it will be said to him on the Day of Judgment as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"'Read, ascend and recite with slow, rhythmic chanting just as you used to recite in the worldly life. For verily, your position (in Paradise) will be at the place of the last verse that you recite." [Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi]

Every time your child goes to the Masjid to learn the Quran he will have the reward of a perfect Hajj. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"Whoever goes to the Masjid in the morning having no intention except to learn something good or teach it he will have the reward like the person who performs Hajj." [At-Tabari. Authenticated by Sheikh al-Albani]

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Abu Dharr,

"O Abu Dharr! That you set out in the morning and learn one verse from the Book of Allah is better for you than if you prayed one hundred Rak'ahs (units of prayer)." [Ibn Majah]

The Quran will intercede for your child on the Day of Judgment, Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"Recite the Quran for verily it will come on the Day of Judgment as an intercessor for those who recited it." [Sahih Muslim]

Your child will be given to wear garments and a crown of honor on the Day of Judgment. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"The Quran will come on the Day of Judgment and say, 'Oh Lord! Adorn him.' So the person will be made to wear the crown of honor. Then it (the Quran) will say, 'Oh Lord! Increase him.' So the person will be made to wear the garment of honor. Then it will say, 'Oh Lord! Be pleased with him.' So Allah will be pleased with him. Then it will be said, 'Recite and ascend.' And the person will receive an extra good deeds for every verse (that he recites of the Quran.)" [Sahih at-Tirmidhi]

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"Whoever recites the Quran, learns it and acts upon it will be given a crown of light to wear on the Day of Judgment and its light will be like the light of the sun." [Sahih al-Hakim]

So, why not encourage our children to memorize the Quran and make them one of the best individuals of this Ummah. Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it." [Sahih al-Bukhari]

Allah, the Exalted, has also promised abundant rewards for those parents who guide their children to memorize the Quran. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"Whoever recites the Quran, learns it and acts according to it will be given a crown of light to wear on the Day of Judgment whose light will be like the sun. His parents will be clothed in two garments that did not exist in this worldly life. So they will say, 'What has caused us to be clothed (in these garments)?' It will be said, 'Your child taking hold of (i.e. memorizing) the Quran has caused this.'" [Al-Hakim graded it authentic]

When the parents leave a righteous child behind them, the child will be a source of reward and blessing for them after their death, for Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"When a man dies, all his good deeds come to an end, except for three cases; the charity of continuous blessings, beneficial knowledge which he leaves behind and a righteous child who prays for him." [Sahih Muslim]

The parents will also receive equal amount of reward that the child receives by memorizing or reciting the Quran, for the parents guide him to this good act and instill in his heart the love for Islam, and the love for the Book of Allah.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"Whoever guides to something good is like the one who does it." [Sahih Muslim] and:

"Whoever invites to guidance will receive the reward like the rewards of those who follow him and that will not diminish anything from their rewards..." [Sahih Muslim]

The parents should also send those children who are intelligent and bright to learn the Quran and Islamic education. It should not be that only those children who when are unsuccessful in worldly studies are sent to Madras as for religious studies. The parents should realize the importance of Islamic education for their children and raising well-educated Muslims who would in the future work for the Cause of Islam.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"The example of guidance and knowledge with which, Allah has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth, some of which was fertile soil, absorbed rain water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance. (And) another portion of it was hard and held the rainwater and Allah benefited the people with it and they utilized it for drinking, making their animals drink from it and for irrigation of the land for cultivation. (And) a portion of it was barren which could neither hold the water nor bring forth vegetation (then that land gave no benefits). The first is the example of the person who comprehends Allah's religion and gets benefit (from the knowledge), which Allah has revealed through me (the Prophet) and learns and then teaches others. The last example is that of a person who does not care for it and does not take Allah's guidance revealed through me (He is like that barren land.)" [Sahih al-Bukhari v.1 no.79]

Those parents who give the excuse that their child is weak or does not have good memory or 'he is not gifted', should know that Allah has said in the Quran:

"And indeed we have made the Quran easy to remember." [Noble Quran 54:17]

And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"Whoever treads on a path in search of Islamic knowledge, Allah will ease the way to Paradise for him. The Angels will lower their wings, pleased with this seeker of knowledge, and everyone in the heavens and on earth will ask forgiveness for the knowledgeable person, even the fish in the deepest of waters will ask for his forgiveness." [Sahih Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah and at-Tirmidhi (2835)]

It is not mandatory for your child to memorize the complete Quran. If he is not able to memorize the complete Quran then know that only attending daily circle for memorization will suffice your child for it will accustom him to frequent the places of worship rather than visiting evil gatherings. Your child will find good companions which will protect him from deviating and adopting evil habits and practices. Allah says:

"And keep yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord, morning and afternoon, seeking His Face and let not your eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp and glitter of the life of the world; and obey not him whose hearts We have made heedless of Our Remembrance, one who follows his own lust and whose affairs (deeds) have been lost." [Noble Quran 18:28]

Fifteen Tips for Muslim Men talking about "Women in Islam"

Guidance for Muslim men on how to deal effectively with the stereotypes and misperceptions about women in Islam.

Sadly, some Muslim men make the problem of outsiders' perception of women in Islam worse without realizing it, instead of clarifying the issue. This is rarely, if ever, done intentionally. However, what’s clear is that some guidelines are necessary for brothers when talking about the issue of women in Islam. Here are some suggested tips:

1. Let the sisters speak

No matter how well-spoken, eloquent or intelligent a brother is, the bottom line is this: he is not a Muslim woman.

That means no matter how much you, as a Muslim man tell a non-Muslim woman how wonderful hijab is, it will be harder for her to accept this because you have never worn Hijab and you are not a woman.

Whenever possible, have sisters answer questions pertaining to Islam and women.

2. Be careful of mixing up the ideal with the reality

One non-Muslim writer once remarked how when talking to Muslims about Islam compared to the West, Muslims take the ideal of Islam and compare it to the reality of the West.

The fact of the matter is there are very ugly realities when it comes to the treatment of women in many parts of the world, including the Muslim world. Muslims must recognize the reality of domestic violence in the community, even though Islamic ideals would never condone such ugly behavior.

3. Don’t sacrifice speaking out against injustice in the name of protecting Islam’s "image"

"Tackle the issue and the image will take care of itself," advises Sr. Kathy Bullock, a convert to Islam based in California. Don’t fall into the tendency to ignore pressing issues for the sake of protecting Islam’s reputation.

In other words, if someone brings up the issue of honor killing in Jordan, acknowledge the reality but make it clear that this is a sin and a crime in Islam and as a Muslim you condemn it. This in itself is enough. Trying to justify or make excuses for it or covering it up is not going to score image points for Islam.

4. Don’t respond to unspoken accusations

A number of times, Muslims automatically start an apologetic tirade defending the status of women in Islam before a person has even said a word. Let the other person initiate questions, and answer calmly and confidently. You may be responding to an accusation that was never even in the person’s mind in the first place.

5. Ask WHY

Do this before launching an apologetic tirade against any accusation. For instance, a man in Spain once approached a scholar, saying he felt Islam was a man’s religion. Before rebutting him, the scholar asked him why he thought this way. The man replied that whenever he looked at mosques, he saw only men.

By knowing why, you can develop your answer accordingly, and tackle the issue head-on in an honest and direct way.

6. Agree with people as much as possible

Start off agreeing with a person. It will completely turn the tables on the discussion, as many people begin discussions on women in Islam assuming Muslims are completely against the notion of women’s rights.

7. If you don’t know something SAY SO

If a person tells you they’re from X country you’ve never heard of and Muslim women are treated in a horrible fashion what can you say about it?

I have never heard of that, and I don’t know are simple enough. Don’t start apologizing, or denying that it happens. Tell the truth.

8. Don’t be condescending

In Islam, looking down on a fellow human being is a sin, whether the person is a male or a female. Don’t think you know all there is to know about women in Islam, and don’t speak in this manner either. Allah does not love arrogance, and only Allah has full knowledge of all things.

9. Don’t interrupt

This is a problem in a number of cultures, men interrupting women and other men when they speak. Not only is this rude behavior, it takes away from your message. People are less likely to listen to you if you come across as a rude boorish individual. Don’t do this to others, especially sisters.

10. Don’t assume all Muslim sisters are the same

Just because your mom, who was born and brought up in a Muslim country, and has never had a problem with hijab does not mean that other Muslim sisters have the same experience.

Muslim sisters are as different as brothers, as are their experiences with issues like hijab.

11. Become more attuned to the "new Muslim woman"

Muslim sisters today are not the same as those of yesterday. Many Muslims sisters know more, and they prefer more interactive lectures as opposed to the passive style normally used. If you’re giving a talk, be ready to have interjections from Muslim sisters. Welcome these, don’t shun them.

12. Choose your words very carefully

If you’re doing a presentation on women’s issues in Islam or responding to a basic question, make sure to choose your words extremely carefully. Know the exact dictionary meaning, as well as the meaning in everyday usage. Words are extremely powerful, and they leave an imprint on the hearts and minds of people. You want that imprint to be positive, so be careful.

13. Actions speak louder than words

You can speak beautifully about women in Islam on behalf of the Muslim Students’ Association (MSA), but if throughout the year, sisters have been denied access to the prayer room, or the right to participate in decision-making in the MSA, then think of how silly your talk is.Make sure your personal and organizational behavior falls in line with your words.

14. Don’t stereotype all Western women

"Table dancers" or "cheerleaders" is how one Muslim sister described the way Muslims tend to stereotype all Western women. Let’s not forget: we hate it when Muslim women are stereotyped as oppressed, so we should not be doing the same to others.

And lest we forget, a growing number of Western women are becoming our Muslim sisters, and very practicing ones at that.

15. Seek women’s perspective on issues

You know mom, who loves you so much and makes your dinner? She’s a woman. Your sister in school? She’s a woman. If you’re blessed to be surrounded by practicing Muslim sisters in your home, take advantage of this by seeking their views on issues like hijab, domestic violence, community participation, and media stereotypes. There’s nothing like hearing the truth presented from those who truly live it.

Kepada kakak2, adik2, sahabat2 yg sgt ana kasihi, sewajarnya kita merasa malu.. malu pd Allah... Baca pengakuan ni, dan renungkan..

"Pengakuan Lelaki Terhadap Wanita

Kami sulit menahan pandangan mata kami
ketika melihat kalian,
apalagi jika kalian diamanahkan Allah
kecantikan dan postur yang ideal,

kami semakin susah untuk menolak agar tidak melihat kalian,
kerana itu lebarkanlah serta longgarkanlah pakaian kalian
dan tutupilah rambut hingga ke dada kalian dengan kerudung yang membentang.

Kami sulit menahan pendengaran kami
ketika berbicara dengan kalian,
apalagi jika kalian diamanahkan oleh Allah
suara yang merdu dengan irama yang mendayu
kerana itu tegaskanlah suara kalian
tatkala berbicara di berhadapan dengan kami
dan berbicaralah seperlunya sahaja.

Kami juga sulit menahan

ketika kalian dapat menjadi

tempat untuk dicurahkan segala isi hati kami,
waktu luang kami kadangkala akan sering terisi
oleh bayangan-bayangan kalian,
kerana itu janganlah kalian membiarkan kami
menjadi curahan hati bagi kalian

Kami tahu kami insan lemah
bila harus berhadapan dengan kalian,

kekerasan hati kami dengan mudah bisa luluh
hanya dengan senyum kalian,
hati kami akan bergetar
ketika mendengar dan melihat kalian menangis.

Sungguh ALLAH telah memberikan amanah terindah kepada kalian,maka jagalah amanah itu
jangan sampai ALLAH murka dan memberikan keputusan-Nya.

Maha Besar dan Maha Suci Allah yang tahu
akan kelemahan hati kami ini,

Sedikit perkongsian yg ingin dinukilkan dalam ruangan kali ni, dipetik daripada sebuah buku tulisan Ust Munif Ahmad(hijjaz) , "Riwayat Bidadari Syurga"..

"Sekadar renungan buat insan yg bergelar wanita..
Ketahuilah betapa istimewanya menjadi wanita..
Betapa bertuahnya menjadi wanita..
Bersyukurlah kerana menjadi wanita.."

Hmm.. banyak keistimewaan para wanita ni rupanya..Antara yang patut kalian tahu wahai muslimah sekalian..

1. Doa wanita lebih makbul daripada lelaki kerana lebih penyayang dari lelaki. Sabda Rasulullah s.a.w..

"Ibu lebih penyayang daripada bapa dan doa orang yang penyayang tidak akan sia-sia.."

2. Wanita solehah lebih baik daripada 1000 orang lelaki yang tidak soleh.

3. Seorang wanita solehah lebih baik daripada 70 orang wali

4. Seorang wanita solehah lebih baik daripada 70 orang lelaki soleh.

5. Sesiapa yang bersikap ihsan dan mendidik anak perempuan atau saudara perempuannya dengan penuh rasa taqwa dan tanggungjawab, maka baginya syurga..

"Sesiapa yang diuji dengan sesuatu daripada anak-anak perempuannya, lalu dia berbuat baik kepada mereka, maka mereka akan menjadi penghalang baginya daripada api neraka.."

7. Syurga itu di bawah telapak kaki ibu..

8. Apabila 2 orang ibubapamu memanggilmu, maka jawablah panggilan si ibu yangg tercinta dahulu..

9. Dari Hazrat Muaz: Mana-mana wanita yang berdiri di atas 2 kakinya dan menyediakan makanan untuk suaminya sehingga muka dan tangannya kepanasan dek api, maka diharamkan muka dan tangannya dari bakaran api neraka.

10. Thabit Al Banani berkata: "Seorang wanita bani israel yang buta sebelah matanya sangat baik terhadap suaminya. Dia menjadi pelita bagi si suami pabila menghidangkan makanan di hadapan suaminya dan dipegangnya pelita sehingga suaminya selesai makan. Pada suatu malam pelitanya kehabisan sumbu. Maka dia menjadikan rambutnya sebagai sumbu pelita. Pada keesokan harinya, matanya yang buta telah celik. Allah swt mengurniakan kemuliaan kepadanya itu kerana memuliakan dan menghormati suaminya.."

Subhanallah...

11. Pada suatu ketika di Madinah, Rasulullah s.a.w keluar mengiringi jenazah. Baginda mendapati beberapa orang wanita di dalam majlis itu. Baginda lalu bertanya,

"Adakah kamu menyembahyangkan mayat?"

Jawab mereka, "Tidak."

Lalu baginda bersabda,

"Seeloknya kamu sekalian tidak perlu menziarahi jenazah kerana tidak ada pahala bagimu. Tetapi tinggallah di rumah dan berkhidmatlah kepada suami nescaya pahalanya sama dengan ibadat-ibadat orang lelaki.."

Hmm.. Untungnya kaum hawa ni.. Dengan mudah je Allah nak kasi pahala..

12. Seorang wanita yang menguli tepung dengan membaca "Bismillah..", maka rezkinya akan diberkati Allah swt..

13. Seorang wanita yang menyapu lantai dengan berzikir kepada Allah swt akan mendapat pahala seperti menyapu lantai di Baitullah.

14. Sabda Rasulullah s.a.w..

"Wahai Fatimah, setiap wanita yang mengeluarkan peluh ketika membuat roti, Allah akan membinakan 7 parit di antara dirinya dengan api neraka. Jarak di antara parit itu adalah sejauh langit dan bumi.."

MasyaAllah.. Sungguh beruntung wanita solehah..

15. Sabda Rasulullah lagi..

"Wahai Fatimah, setiap wanita yang memintal benang akan dicatatkan oleh Allah swt perbuatan baik untuknya sebanyak utas benang yang dipintalnya dan memadamkan 100 perbuatan jahatnya.."

16. Sabda Rasulullah s.a.w..

"Wahai Fatimah, setiap wanita yang meminyakkan rambut anaknya, menyikatkannya, mencuci pakaian mereka dan memandikan mereka, akan dicatatkan oleh Allah swt untuknya pekerjaan baik sebanyak helaian rambut mereka dan memadamkan sebanyak itu pula pekerjaan jahat mereka dan menjadikan dirinya kelihatan berseri di mata orang-orang yang memerhatikannya.."

Oleh itu, wahai saudariku, bersama-samalah kita memperbaiki diri menuju redhaNya..
Sungguh, Mulia kedudukan wanita solehah di sisi Allah..

Kepada Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim
Namun aku tidak ada di sana
Kerana aku dilamar oleh kebendaan dunia

Wanita yang aku kasihi
Yang bersyukur pada apa yang ada
Yang bersabar pada apa yang tiada
Cinta pada hidup yang sederhana yang tidak bermatakan benda

Wanita yang aku sukai
Menjadi dian pada dirinya sendiri
Menjadi pelita untuk putera-puteri yang bakal dilahirkan
Untuk menyambung perjuangan di belakang hari

Sesungguhnya
Wanita yang selalu berada di dalam doaku
Adalah, dirimu dan seluruh kaum Hawa…
